Founder/Executive Director

Rosalyn Moore

Rosalyn received her Bachelor degree in Sociology minor Gerontology from Claflin University in 2007. Afterward, she pursued a master’s degree from Capella University in human services.

She later attended Webster University to study mental health counseling and is currently enrolled in the doctorate program at Walden University, expanding her knowledge in health psychology. In conjunction with her degrees, she has also received certification as an autism specialist, Child and Adolescent Level of Care Utilization System (CALOCUS), and dementia practitioner.

She has invested more than 10 years of working in 10 communities and more by providing individuals with home health resources, hospice resources, and various platforms of therapy as well as preventive health care resources.

Rosalyn is originally from the Pee Dee area of South Carolina and currently resides in Florence County where she is an active member of the distinguished Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Growing up in a single-parent household with her mom and three siblings is the platform that supports the Rosalyn Cares Foundation.

Experiencing the struggles and overcoming the odds are more than just the prelude to Rosalyn’s story. It is also in how she made the best of her opportunities with the education and resources that was shared with her and learned that encapsulates her success.

Learning how to navigate life at a very young age all while taking care of a child has taught Ashley how to be resilient and has motivated her to strive for success. Ashley’s life experiences along with her educational background will be beneficial to our girls mentoring program.
