About Us

Welcome to Rosalyn Cares Foundation

At Rosalyn Cares Foundation, we believe that every person deserves the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their circumstances. Unfortunately, many individuals and families face barriers to education, healthcare, mental wellness, and essential community resources. We are committed to helping remove those barriers by creating opportunities that inspire hope and transform lives.

Whether we are awarding scholarships, connecting seniors with supportive services, promoting healthier lifestyles, or increasing awareness of mental health, every program is designed to create brighter futures and stronger communities.

In conjunction with her degrees, she has also received certification as an autism specialist, Child and Adolescent Level of Care Utilization System (CALOCUS), and dementia practitioner.

She has invested more than 10 years of working in 10 communities and more by providing individuals with home health resources, hospice resources, and various platforms of therapy as well as preventive health care resources.

Rosalyn is originally from the Pee Dee area of South Carolina and currently resides in Florence County where she is an active member of the distinguished Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Growing up in a single-parent household with her mom and three siblings is the platform that supports the Rosalyn Cares Foundation.

Experiencing the struggles and overcoming the odds are more than just the prelude to Rosalyn’s story. It is also in how she made the best of her opportunities with the education and resources that was shared with her and learned that encapsulates her success.

Why We Serve

Breaking the Cycle

Did you know that 1 out of 4 children are raised in a single-parent home in the United States?

Studies strongly support that single-parent households are more likely to experience poverty as they face incredible work/life balance roadblocks. Whether transitioning through divorce, tragic life situations, or financial hardship, no one can be completely prepared for the challenges of parenting alone. Most need reliable, non-judgmental, and steadfast support, including basic concrete needs.

Rosalyn Cares Foundation is committed to breaking this cycle. We concentrate on building resources to strengthen connections for families in the community. To ensure success, we are committed to measuring family data, allowing us to create effective, personalized resource plans that maximize potential and provide transitional support to decrease the likelihood of setbacks.
